Litron lasers is a company specializing in the development and production of pulsed and continuous Nd:YAG and Nd:YLF lasers.
Litron was founded in 1997 and produced its first laser devices in 2002. The company currently manufactures standard models and configurations of laser systems, including specialized PIV systems and high energy pulsed lasers. In addition to an extremely wide range of standard products, Litron has expertise in manufacturing complex custom Nd:YAG and other solid-state lasers.
We provide technical support and commissioning directly at the site where the equipment will be used. Our team of professionals is always ready to help you choose the scientific equipment that best suits your needs.
The Nano Series includes three laser heads: Nano S, Nano L and Nano T, which share the same design: electrically driven shutters, fully sealed Pockels cells, stainless steel pump chambers and easily customizable mirrors. The Nano Series design allows any power supply to be connected to any head. This offers advantages in terms of both laser size and cost, as the system offered will be customized to the customer's requirements.
The TRLi series lasers have energies up to 850 mJ and repetition rates up to 300 Hz. This series is a fully birefringence compensated high energy, high repetition rate pulsed laser system.
The series of compact and robust pulsed goodness modulated lasers are ideal for a variety of applications including LIBS, LIDAR, PIV digital tracer imaging, pump sources and spectroscopy.
High energy lasers
Rugged, Invar-stabilized, high-energy, high-performance pulsed Nd:YAG lasers for industrial and scientific applications. The LPY series pulsed lasers are designed to meet virtually any industrial or research application where a high-energy Nd:YAG laser is required.
All lasers are equipped with a fully integrated control system that monitors many system parameters to ensure reliable operation. The availability of interfaces such as RS232, Ethernet and CAN, as well as a complete software suite with the necessary drivers and LabView integration allow for remote automation.
The LPY series lasers are widely used in applications such as spectroscopy, LIBS, LIDAR, LIDT, pulsed laser sputtering, Thomson scattering.
DPSS lasers with gain modulation
Utilizes the latest high-efficiency diode pumping technology to replace traditional lamp pumping. Litron DPSS lasers use hermetically sealed, mechanically robust diode pumping modules, which ensures output signal stability, high reliability, easy diode replacement and long diode lifetime (more than 4 billion pulses).
Nano DPSS, Plasma DPSS series lasers provide the greatest versatility, allowing you to choose the optimal solution for a particular task without compromising performance.
TRLi DPSS series lasers are compact high-energy diode-pumped Nd:YAG lasers with diode pumping and gain modulation with output energy up to 360 mJ and repetition rate up to 200 Hz. repetition rates up to 200 Hz.
The wide range of applications includes: LIDAR and remote sensing, Thomson scattering, LIBS AND LIF, laser processing.
CW DPSS lasers
Litron manufactures a range of high power CW DPSS lasers for a variety of applications. The laser systems are based on Nd:YAG and Nd:YLF crystals. The LD-527 series is a diode-pumped, frequency-doubled Nd:YLF laser that is ideal for pumping applications. Output energy up to 30 mJ at 527 nm and a repetition rate of 1 kHz.
The LD60-532 series lasers are a dual laser head system that is ideal for PIV. The system includes two fully independent DPSS Nd: YAG lasers, each delivering 60 W at 532 nm, which are combined into a common beam. Both lasers are independently triggered and controlled.
All laser systems are made of Invar for reliable operation in industrial environments. Heavy-duty optical mounts and a sealed head housing ensure that the systems will perform even in harsh environments.
Lasers for PIV
A wide range of pulsed and diode-pumped PIV laser systems with output energies up to 425 mJy and repetition rates up to 200 Hz for lamp-pumped systems and up to 50 kHz for diode-pumped systems. The PIV product line includes both the ultra-compact Nano series and the larger Invar-stabilized LPY series.
The choice of a suitable resonator configuration allows the quality of the output beam to be controlled, providing a very smooth spatial profile that remains homogeneous during propagation. Such resonators almost always have a stable or stable-telescopic configuration.
The wide range of applications includes: digital tracer imaging PIV, time-resolved PIV, planar laser-induced fluorescence PLIF, laser-induced fluorescence LIF, holography and ESPI electronic speckle interferometry.
Tunable pulsed lasers
The Aurora II Integra series combines a broadband Type II OPO BBO and a nanosecond Nd:YAG pump module into a single laser head utilizing a heavy-duty Invar optical rail for best-in-class performance and stability.
Tunable from 410 to 2600 nm, expandable to the UV from 210 to 410 nm, and direct access to the pump laser and its harmonics make the Aurora II an ideal choice for a wide range of research and industrial applications.
The integrated fully motorized design eliminates the need for alignment and adjustment when moving the laser head. The ability to select a pump source from Litron's wide range of Nd:YAG lasers, high-modulus design and the ability to optimize custom components make the Aurora II a versatile solution.
