Le Verre Fluore is a company specialized in the design and manufacture of fiber optic components.
The company was founded in 1977, thanks to the discovery of fluoride glasses. Le Verre Fluore has many outstanding pioneering achievements, including ZBLAN and fluoridate glasses, low loss optical fibers suitable for industrial applications.
We provide technical support and commissioning directly at the place where the equipment will be used. Our team of professionals is always ready to help you choose the scientific equipment that best suits your needs.
Le Verre Fluoré develops a wide range of fluoride optical fibers, including ZrF4, InF3 and AlF3 based optical fibers, as well as high power GeG germanate fibers with chemical stability in the 2.7-3.0 µm range. They are intended for use in the mid-infrared region of the spectrum.
ZFG (Zirconium ZrF4 Fluoride Glass) - Fluorocirconate fibers have high transparency from 0.3 to 4.5 µm. They are divided into multimode fibers with an operating range of 300 nm - 4.5 μm, fibers with a polygonal core for scrambling the mode composition, single-mode fibers with an operating range of 300 nm - 4.1 μm, fibers with polarization preservation.
IFG (indium fluoride glass InF3) - fluoroindate fibers have high transparency from 0.3 to 5.5 μm and are divided into multimode and single-mode fibers with an operating range of 300 nm - 5.5 μm.

Active fibers
Leave an application
Due to the high solubility of RE (up to 100,000 ppm) and low phonon energy, Le Verre Fluore fluoride fibers provide multiple active transitions, opening up a wide range of applications in the visible and mid-infrared.
RE (Dy, Ho, Tm, Er, Pr, Sm, Nd, Yb) doped single-mode fiber. RE-doped double-sheath fibers have a double D-shaped first sheath to improve pump absorption.
RE doping allows the fibers to be tailored to a specific application by adjusting the cutoff wavelength, core diameter, and rare earth element content.
Bulk fluoride glasses
Leave an application
Le Verre Fluoré produces bulk fluoride glasses of all types, including parallelepipeds, rods, tubes and prisms. These glasses can be uniformly doped with rare earth elements (Er, Pr, Ho, Tm, Dy) depending on specific requirements.
Bulk fluoride glasses can be used as a reliable fluorescent solid-state dye, reference material for wavelength determination, radiation conversion, and for studying the specific properties of fluoride glasses in the UV, visible and mid-infrared ranges.
Solutions for infrared range
Leave an application
For full integration into an industrial system, Le Verre Fluoré has developed fiber modules. The fiber is placed in a robust housing and connected with FC/PC, FC/APC, SMA or custom connectors depending on the system needs.
Industrial Supercontinuum sources are the ideal solution for mid-infrared spectrum applications from 700 to 4100 nm. They are used in infrared spectroscopy and spectral fingerprinting.
The LumIR 2800 is a 2.8 µm continuous fiber laser with output power from 1 to 10 W. The LumIR 3200 is used in the 3.1-3.3 µm range and has output power up to 5 W. The devices are available as industrial OEM solutions.
