The continuous laser diode driver with integrated TEC controller provides a low-noise current that can be promoted by an external 0-5 V signal. It can be designed in any butterfly type package.
The driver of the pulsed laser diode provides formation of pulses with width from 1 ns. Butterfly laser diodes can be easily driven at any frequency up to 250 MHz (4 MHz in the standard version).
The fiber laser diode driver is optimized for operation from single pulse to CW mode with pulse duration up to 1 ns and peak current up to 3500 mA. Meet fiber laser limitations in terms of noise, accuracy, response time, blocking, etc.
The multi-channel laser diode driver is capable of simultaneously driving multiple laser diodes in any mode of operation. Current level up to 4A in pulse mode and 2.5A in CW mode. Compatible with laser diodes of any form factor.
High power laser diode driver with TEC controller and air cooling. DC current is supplied to drive one or more laser diodes. It is rightly considered a complete solution.
Laser diodes
They are advanced and reliable optical devices with high efficiency and precision. Due to their high stability and long lifetime, AeroDIODE laser diodes are indispensable components for building precise and reliable optical systems.
AeroDIODE's wide range of laser diodes are available in wavelength ranges from 520 nm to 1650 nm and optical powers from 2 to 200 watts. Single-mode (butterfly, 10/14 pins) and multi-mode (2-pin) laser diodes are available.
The laser diodes are also compatible with pulsed laser diode drivers with nanosecond pulse duration or high-power air-cooled CW drivers. The laser diode pulses are generated by an on-board pulse generator or an external TTL signal.
AeroDIODE products use patented advanced technologies that have been developed in the ALPHANOV Technology Center for over 15 years. Laser diode applications cover a wide range of industries including scientific research, medicine, industry and telecommunications.
Modulators
A fiber optic modulator outputs pulses generated by an internal pulse generator or an external TTL signal. A solid-state optical modulator (SOM) can be compared to acousto-optic (AOM), electro-absorption (EOM), or direct laser diode modulators.
Fiber-coupled acousto-optic modulators (AOMs) are designed as the optimal solution for amplitude modulation of laser radiation in a single-mode optical fiber. They are available in the range of 680 - 1850 nm and 700-1750 nm. AOMs are simple to implement and provide direct control of the intensity and temporal shape of the laser radiation down to a few nanoseconds.
Semiconductor optical amplifiers (SOAs) operating in the 750 - 1550 nm and 750 - 1700 nm range are available as off-the-shelf products or as a package with low-noise CW or high-speed pulse drivers. The SOA op amp, operating in constant or pulsed mode, can be used as a broadband amplifier, adjustable attenuator, high dynamic range lossless amplitude modulator or isolation switch.
Synchronization devices
The Pulse Delay Generator provides high frequency pulses, time delays and bursts. It is an excellent instrument for testing and timing control in electronics, lasers and cameras. The pulse delay generator has several modes of operation including stand-alone generator, digital delay generator, frequency divider, burst generator, pulse shaper, and arbitrary waveform generator (AWG). It is used when modulating fiber with EOM, AOM, or SOA.
The digital delay generator is designed for use in OEM applications. Optimal tool for synchronizing and gating optoelectronic devices such as cameras or lasers. The low minimum input voltage level and the optional photodiode make it ideal for synchronizing various devices.
Pulse Picker - A synchronization device for controlling external modulating devices such as EOM, AOM, SOA, etc. It is designed to handle low-level electrical or optical input pulses. It includes 3 pulse picking modes: frequency divider, external trigger and high frequency clock, burst shaper.
