Synrad is a company specializing in the production of gas lasers.
The company was founded in 1984 by Peter Laakmann, who pioneered the development of the radio frequency excited laser. Thanks to the patented "All Metal" technology, more than 250,000 Synrad lasers are now in use worldwide. The company's products are used in a variety of industries including marking, engraving, coding, cutting and processing a wide range of materials.
We provide technical support and commissioning directly at the site where the equipment will be used. Our team of professionals is always ready to help you choose the scientific equipment that best suits your needs.
The compact and energy-efficient Synrad i Series delivers 400 W of power and high beam quality with 45° linear polarization for high-precision applications. The i Series lasers are based on a hybrid waveguide/unstable resonator with fast rise/fall times and field-replaceable, integrated 48-volt RF modules. Due to its single-tube design, the i Series weighs 24% less than competing lasers, an important factor when installed on moving gantry systems or robotic handling systems.
The Synrad i401 features a TCP/IP web interface that provides LED and RF module status information including voltage, current and temperature measurements using a standard web browser to manage laser operation and ensure optimal performance.
High-power p-series CO2 lasers
p100 - average power 100 W Up to 400 W peak pulse power and fast rise/fall times limit the heat affected zone (HAZ), enabling cutting and perforating with minimal melt boundaries and color change. With zero contact with the material being processed, the p100 is the ideal solution for precision cutting and processing of sensitive materials.
p150 - Medium power 150W The Synrad p150 is designed with high processing speeds and high quality results for difficult-to-machine materials. The combination of fast pulse rise, 600 W peak power and high beam quality opens up new possibilities for processing sensitive materials such as thin films, where melting margins can be significantly reduced or even eliminated.
p250 - average power 250 W The Synrad p250 offers high stability and a peak pulse power of up to 800 W, which together limit the heat affected zone (HAZ), enabling cutting and perforating with minimal discoloration and melting. With no contact with the material being cut, the Synrad p250 is the ideal solution for sensitive high speed cutting applications. Surface deformation normally inherent in mechanical cutting systems is eliminated.
p400 - medium power 400 W With 400W average power, 1kW peak pulse power, the p400 delivers high quality cuts at very high processing speeds. Unique user-switchable pulsed/continuous modes make the Synrad p400 the most versatile laser source available.
CO2 laser with integrated f-series design
It is designed to deliver a stable 200W of power for tasks such as cutting, punching and drilling. The laser's fully integrated design minimizes size and weight. Ideal for installation on robotic handling systems and high-speed marking systems, as well as for full integration into flatbed cutting systems. With fully integrated RF drivers, simple and straightforward interfaces for water cooling and control signals, the f-Series lasers minimize integration time, providing maximum flexibility for system designers, OEMs and turnkey system suppliers.
Combined with the standard 10.6 µm wavelength, the optional 10.2 µm wavelength configuration expands the range of materials processed to include polypropylene-based films commonly used for self-adhesive labels. The f201 offers high output power and stability for high quality results.
Highly stable ti series CO2 lasers
Compact CO2 lasers with average power outputs over 60, 80 and 100 W and power stability of ±2% (after a 3-minute warm-up) for high-precision cutting, marking and 3D printing applications.
The ti laser technology is based on maximizing the power and performance of an air-cooled CO2 laser. Synrad's ti series lasers utilize a patented hybrid unstable resonator design to provide a high quality beam focused at the smallest achievable spot size, maximizing power density on the work surface
ti60/ti80/ti100 Compact CO 2 lasers with average power outputs of 60/80/100W for high-speed marking, cutting and 3D printing are available in multiple wavelength options to process a wide range of materials. A unique fan-cooled 100W model is available for OEM production.
ti100 pulsed CO2 laser Compact pulsed CO2 laser with over 300W peak power for precision cutting, drilling, punching and marking of temperature sensitive materials.
CO2 laser with v series three-point mounting system
The v series lasers are designed for easy integration with a unique three-point mounting system for a variety of mounting options. The v series lasers share a common beam exit point with Synrad's ti and vi series lasers for easy replacement. To maximize ease of integration, the v-Series lasers feature a built-in click generator, industry-standard 5-24 VDC I/O ports, and remote status control capability via a 15-pin D connector.
For over 15 years, the Synrad v30 has been used as a 30-watt CO2 laser for marking and engraving systems. Reliable operation year after year, consistently high beam quality, compact size and three-point mounting system make the Synrad v30 the ideal solution for marking and engraving systems.
CO2 laser with all-metal tube Series 48
Synrad all-metal tube technology for hermetically sealed CO2 lasers in industrial applications. For over 25 years, the Synrad 48 Series has remained the industry standard for performance, reliability and durability. Synrad 48 Series lasers are suitable for integration into marking, engraving and small cutting systems where performance and reliability in industrial environments are important.
32 Series ultra-compact CO2 lasers
Ultra-compact 5 W medium power CO2 laser for precise marking and coding. Designed for easy integration and mounting in compact industrial equipment and marking and coding systems.
At 285 mm X 71 mm, the 32-1 is Synrad's smallest CO2 laser. Designed for compact laser processing systems, the 32-1 fits easily into benchtop models. At 3.18 kg, it has minimal weight, maintains portability and can be easily integrated into small systems. Designed for reliable operation, the 32-1 delivers a high quality laser beam in the most demanding environments.
